PSEO through multiple institutions We know that this process can be overwhelming, so our mission is to provide any resources you need to succeed. We offer more than 60 online courses in semester-length formats, including at-your-own-pace learning and collaboratively-based learning. Northwestern's PSEO and Early College program gives high school juniors and seniors the opportunity to take college courses. Course instruction will take place in person at the high school, but additional work may be required at home or elsewhere with internet access. Both the student and the parent/guardian of the student must reside in Minnesota during the course. PSEO covers only non-sectarian undergraduate courses, which means courses like our Bible courses are not available through PSEO. Whether you are a new student or transfer, living on campus or commuting from home, doing dual-enrollment or traditional courses - welcome home. Northwestern's PSEO online program requires you to have internet access to complete your courses. Are you a non-Minnesota resident with questions about Early College? Through on-site dual enrollment, high schools can choose any course from Northwestern’s traditional catalog for which the school has a qualified instructor. Graduate Individual Courses.
Our Admissions office is here to help you navigate your college search. Our courses consist of online video lectures, online discussion boards, electronic assignment submission, and exams, as well as textbook readings, depending on the course. You will have a professor to answer questions just like any other class. Typically, these courses will be common, entry-level courses in academic subjects; however, some schools offer more specialized courses. This application contains sensitive information. Northwestern understands the needs of homeschooled learners and will help guide you through the process. Nearly one third of our PSEO and Early College students are homeschooled and approximately 10% of Northwestern's traditional undergraduate students have been homeschooled in the past. Northwestern is the largest provider of dual enrollment courses among private colleges and universities in the state of Minnesota. Students who meet our PSEO admission standards may participate in fall and spring in 11th and 12th grade; the high school does not determine PSEO eligibility.
